Dear Overhauling, wherein Matt finds a great example of that weird old weblog-comments-with-a-life-of-their-own phenomenon.

Update: Matt finds another one where people think they are writing to Maury Povich. This one was hard to read though, because the people are so fantastically stupid it breaks my heart.

Fastastically stupid is a great way to put it. And also sad. I just spent 15 minutes on there. I couldn't stop. When you read a post saying "What's wrong with you people?! This is not Maury!!" and then the next one just launches in with their sad, pathetic story...man, I would like to see the user test that leads to that.

Hmmm...maybe Google test that: Find and write to the Maury Povich show.
